Sevenoaks, Kent
This was a brand new house on a large plot. Our clients wanted their garden designed to look as established as possible from the start and to sit nicely within the location. We were introduced to the project just as the house was completed and the hard landscaping had started.
Our brief was to produce planting plans for all the areas for both the front and back garden. Once our designs had been approved, we began planting all the areas and a new lawn was laid.
Many mature specimens were used, including Taxus hedging which were planted around the two seating areas in order to provide seclusion. Colour was injected throughout the planting design with the use of herbaceous perennials and bulbs for year-round-interest.
A separate area for growing vegetables was allocated by the shed. Curved raised beds reflecting the shapes within the garden were constructed, allowing generous growing areas.
