This garden had been laid to lawn for many years and our clients were keen to have a design that included a new patio by the house and a path leading to the summerhouse at the bottom of the garden. They also wanted nice big borders for planting and an area for growing vegetables.

Our design allowed for a large patio area for big family gatherings. The selected planting provided continuity through the garden.

A lovely large apple tree was our focal point for the garden, which was pruned back into a nice shape. We took advantage of the beautiful backdrop of the neighbouring mature trees and added a native beech hedge along the boundary.

We have re-visited the garden on a few occasions, and the planting is looking beautiful and maturing well.
