Oxted, Surrey

The garden of this new build was very steep and was certainly a challenge for our landscapers.  They had to create new levels and build steps, paths and a patio area for our clients to be able to navigate their new garden safely.

We kept a large lawn at the top of the garden for ease of access for mowing.  The back fence was painted black and a lovely  beech hedge was planted in front and along one side.  Three lower tiers were constructed to help soften the slope and borders were created for planting.

A small patio area was built halfway up the garden to provide seating and a great viewing point over the North Downs.

Plenty of perennial and shrubs were planted, along with two small trees, ideal for this size garden.  The planting has filled out nicely over the last two seasons, offering a great display from the house and from above.
