This tired garden was crying out for any overhaul.  Our clients wanted a new garden with easy access through with places to sit and enjoy the views. They were keen to keep large areas of lawn, but also wanted generous borders for new planting.  They had lots of existing plants, which we used within the planting designs.

Having given up their allotment, they also wanted an area to grow vegetables.  We had raised beds built for ease of planting and harvesting. An area for vegetables and fruit was allocated within the garden.

A new patio was laid with wide paths winding through the garden to the end, where a pergola was erected to provide shade and a pleasant area to propagate their vegetables and cut flowers.
