Sevenoaks, Kent

This small garden was quite overgrown when we first visited and was desperate for some attention. Our client was very knowledgable in horticulture but worked long days, so wanted her space to be a sanctuary for the time she could spend in her garden.

Most of the garden was cleared, leaving a tall hedge along the rear boundary and two lovely mature silver birch trees. The introduction of a small rill, which ran through the garden provided a subtle sound of moving water and reflection.

Artificial grass created a lawn area, which required no maintenance and a mix of shrubs and perennial plants were planted, along with seasonal bulbs.  A new patio area was laid leading onto stepping stones which took you through the first border into the garden.

Our client was very pleased with the finished garden and they added a lovely bistro table and chairs to complete the design.
